Аннотация
В исследовании рассматриваются возрастные неравенства участия избирателей в выборах Государственной Думы. Согласно общей для многих демократий закономерности, электоральная активность гораздо выше в старших возрастах и ниже — в младших. Признается, что при продвижении по этапам жизненного цикла у человека появляется заинтересованность в решении ряда жизненных проблем, зависящих от принимаемых политических решений, что побуждает его к голосованию. При этом недостаточно изученным остается вопрос о том, какие политические аттитюды опосредуют зависимость между возрастом индивидов и их участием в выборах. В нашей стране также отмечается сильная зависимость между участием в выборах и возрастом. В исследовании предполагается, что возрастные различия электорального участия в выборах ГД объясняются в определенной степени медиативными влияниями переменных интереса к политике и партийной идентификации. Анализируются данные российского опроса, проведенного по проекту Европейского социального исследования (ESS, Round 8), с применением регрессионного моделирования, позволяющего оценивать параллельные и последовательные медиации. Результаты показывают, что с возрастом повышается интерес к политике и формируется партийная идентификация, которые мотивируют участие в выборах ГД. Обнаружены отчетливые непрямые эффекты возрастной детерминации этой активности, которые говорят о наиболее выраженном посредническом влиянии партийной идентификации, заметном — интереса к политике, а также, хотя и менее сильном, их последовательности — через этот интерес, а потом идентификацию.
